Trainee Cut & Crease Operator

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Trainee Cut & Crease Operators to join the team at Gateshead.

You will be placed with an experienced operator, who will begin your basic training on Cutting Machinery and there will also be classroom sessions to enhance your learning.

You will follow a set training plan and will be assessed at regular intervals.

No experience is needed but current experience working in the production area would be advantageous.

Trainees will need to be flexible, able to work different shifts at short notice and be able to attend both sites.

The successful candidate will be data driven, enthusiastic and ambitious, with strong attention to detail, willing to learn, and compliant with internal HSE and Quality procedures.

Working pattern: -

· Three 12 hour shifts per week - This includes days and nights, starting at 6am and 6pm, 6pm to 6am (continental).

. 36 contractual hours per week.

· Some overtime is available.

Employee wellbeing is important to us. As such, we offer an 8 day rest period after every 4th week on shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.75-£11.25 per hour
