Role Overview & Responsibilities

A full time Assistant Manager job opportunity has arisen on a dairy farm just outside Crewe, Cheshire.

We are a Spring block calving herd, running a grass based system.

The position would suit someone who is wanting to learn and develop in dairying and who is honest, reliable and motivated.

You will be involved with the day to day running of the farm so you must have excellent animal husbandry skills and put the welfare of the stock as priority.

You must be able to work within a team and communicate well with others and have good attention to detail.

Previous experience working with dairy cows is essential, and experience of the grazing system would be an advantage. Candidate must have excellent animal husbandry skills and love working with cows.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
