About us

Guardforce Security Services Limited has been established since December 1993. Our Head office is based in North Watford, conveniently located close to the M1 Motorway. This location also boasts excellent road links to the M25, A41, A5 and A1 (M), which are the operating corridors for our business.

We currently operate from the following location from around the United Kingdom:

• Home Counties: supporting Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire
• London: servicing clients within the M25 motorway, including the City, West End together with parts of Berkshire, Essex, Kent, and Surrey
• Midlands: covering Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and parts of Warwickshire and Yorkshire

We're looking for a Security Officer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal individual will be responsible for monitoring surveillance cameras and doors to ensure public safety, as well as conducting surprise spot-checks on the building to ensure that all entrances are secure. This is an entry-level position and we are interested in hiring candidates with a desire to work with the excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform security audits.
• Understand security rules and regulations.
• Monitor CCTV to identify unusual activity or events.
• Stay vigilant while on duty; be aware of everything happening in and around the environment.
• Work in a 24/7 environment, with variable shifts on a weekly rota.
• Follow rules and regulations because of the high-security nature of the facility and its property.
• Foot Patrols
• Access Control
• Handling Visitors
• Incident Report Writing

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Watford, WD24 7RG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SIA (required)
• First Aid Certification (preferred)
