Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an organized salon receptionist to provide customer and social media support for our award wining salon team.

In this role, you will be required to greet and welcome clients, secure bookings, manage appointment schedules, process transactions, and assist with social media marketing.

Salon Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Tending to customer needs, inquiries, and complaints.
• Informing hairdressers and beauticians about customer appointments and requirements.
• Managing phone calls, emails, deliveries, and office inventory.
• Processing bookings and cancellations, and managing appointment schedules.
• Ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and professional.
• Assisting with marketing and sales by providing customers with information on promotions and new products and services.
• Processing transactions and issuing receipts.
• Frequently generating and posting content on social media

Salon Receptionist Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-year experience as a receptionist.
• Proficiency in administrative computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Excellent customer service and skills.
• Working knowledge of all social media platforms

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: From £10.00 per hour
