PART TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - HOSPITALITY - LONDON

Fabulous opportunity for a part time Accounts Assistant to become of a fantastic team with well established sustainable hospitality and catering company based in central London. We are looking an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a 3 days a week reporting directly into the business proprietors and some external accountants.

A successful candidate should have minimum 2 years experience within a finance function, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with time keeping and organisation with a passion for food!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate and up to date reconciled balances
  • Assisting with internal and external audit process
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining Fixed Assets & Pre-Payments records, creating and posting monthly journals
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up to date supplier details and account records
  • Reconciling supplier account vs. statements
  • Administrating, process and reconcile petty cash and cash floats
  • Upload invoices from database
  • Reconcile invoices raised in the period vs database
  • Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
  • Credit control & Age reporting
  • Queries arising

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or qualified by experience in accounting / finance.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet tight deadlines
  • Minimum of 2 years in accounting
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal skills to clearly communicate issues to all staff and management levels.
  • Meticulous bookkeeping skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and use of Xero & Dext
