Role Overview & Responsibilities

About the role:

Hawkwood are currently partnering with a mission-driven, HealthTech start-up who are seeking to hire their first-ever Lead Talent Acquisition Partner.

Our client has developed a product aiming to radically improve the journey to better health. The platform was born out of the desire to compassionately support the physical and mental well-being of individuals, and they have been incredibly successful in doing so this far! Having recently secured funding from some of Europe’s top investors, the business is looking to grow from 16 to 30 over the next 12-18 months.

We are looking for an ambitious Talent Partner who is keen to support hiring whilst also building a Talent Acquisition function from scratch. You will work closely with the SLT to shape the TA strategy, and will also get involved in wider TA projects such as DEI and employer branding!

What are some of the things you can expect to be doing?

  • Owning end-to-end hiring and recruitment experiences, and partnering closely with the SLT.
  • Building effective interview and hiring processes within the business.
  • Identifying and hiring market-leading talent into the business.
  • Developing social media opportunities to increase employer brand awareness and ensure vacancies reach a wide candidate pool, developing a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Designing benefits packages from salary benchmarking to creating salary packages and benefits programs that attract, reward and retain employees.
  • Building the foundations of a great people culture.

About You:

  • Experience in managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from engagement to offer with a focus on Technical positions.
  • Experience working within a high-growth/start-up/VC-backed technology company.
  • A data-driven approach to capacity planning and workload management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Are comfortable partnering with hiring managers and candidates alike, with excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to empathise and understand motivations;
