Telephone Support Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Headway Essex is looking for a caring and compassionate person to manage our telephone helpline support service, you will be:

• Providing helpline support and service information
• Processing initial enquiries and referrals from professionals and survivors of brain injury.
• A listening ear and make wellbeing support calls.
• Providing administrative support for Case Workers
• Creating and maintaining service user records

You will have:

• Previous experience in a health and social care role
• Good knowledge of Safeguarding
• A Health and Social care or relevant qualifications
• Excellent administrative and IT skills
• Knowledge of brain injury is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• This role is office based, 22.5 hours per week (minimum of 4 week days) the days and hours to be agreed, but will be weekdays between the hours of 9:00 to 16:30

Job Type: Part-time
Contract length: 18 months
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

Salary: £10.55-£13.15 per hour
