Export Operator - Pet Shipping / Animal Handling

Role Overview & Responsibilities

My client are a niche freight forwarder and leading, specialist relocation company looking for an Export Operator to join their busy team. You MUST have a knowledge of exports and animal handling experience, general cargo at least.

Daily duties will include:

• Operating the animal lounge service
• Welcoming pet shipping agents and pet owners
• Checking shipping documents
• Interpreting airway bills
• Ensuring travel kennels are compliant
• Liaising with airlines
• Scheduling collection and delivery of pets to airlines
• Handling animals including dogs & cats etc.

You MUST have a passion for animals as you will be hands on handling pets and reassuring nervous owners, this can be a physically challenging role so must be physically fit. Animal handling experience and exports is ESSENTIAL.

Working hours;

• Monday - Friday 0900am - 1700pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
