Role Overview & Responsibilities

Java developer (Prague/remote)

Are you an experienced Java/Angular developer and would like to work on an external project? We have a full stack/backend developer position for modern transport technologies with the possibility of full remote work or in the Prague branch!

Join the team where you:

Work on any of the backend or frontend projects developed for IT platforms for modern trains

Design logic and/or GUI for SW modules, write clean product code based on tests

develop new functionalities in Java and maintain the SW components of the product portfolio according to the required specifications

Participation in the embedded backend development in Java, partly also web

contribute to the frontend development in Angular in Typescript (if interested)

Participate in tests (Karma/Jasmine), fix bugs, use Selenium, Python

Work as a team in an agile team on an international project using English and/or German

there is the possibility of concentrating purely on the backend or partially contributing to the frontend, i.e. full-stack development (depending on preference)

What do we expect:

1. Knowledge of Java 11 and Spring Framework

2. Knowledge of MS SQL Server

3. Python skills

4. Knowledge of versioning and build creation

5. Communication Ability

6. Technical college or university education

7. Willingness to occasionally travel irregularly (Prague/Vienna)

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Leeds: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
