Part Time Delivery Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Henllan Bakery is one of the UK's leading independent Craft Wholesale bakeries. We are looking for a skilled driver to join our growing team.
The successful person will form an integral part of the Transport Department, working together to provide excellent customer service for our wide-ranging customer base, which includes retail chains, independent cafes and delis to pubs, schools and hospitals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To start with, you will be supported with training for your route, typically just over a week.
• A confident driver with experience in navigating around North Wales.
• Have a clean UK driving license.
• Have multi-drop experience.
• Be a safe and diligent driver adhering to the highway code and minimizing damage to company vehicles.
• Your shift will generally start at around 3.00am so your late mornings and afternoons will be your own.
• You will also enjoy plenty of autonomy. As a driver you’ll be given delivery notes, from which you’ll accurately pick the orders and load your vehicle with our bakery products.
• Your route for the day will be pre set
• Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service, that develops strong relationships, exceeds their expectations and on occasion, be able to manage difficult conversations in a calm and professional manner, as well as acting as an ambassador for our brand.
• You will work a defined rota 3 mornings a week including Bank Holidays.

Your Rota

3 shifts a week

22 hours a week

3am start

Week 1 Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Week 2 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then a week off

Ability to commute/relocate:

• DENBIGH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Delivery driver: 2 years (preferred)
