Pharmacy Cover Delivery Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a cover driver to provide a backup option to complete pharmacy deliveries when our regular delivery driver is off sick or on annual leave. The position is temporary, with no guarantee of regular work so would suit someone retired/someone who is looking to supplement existing income with ad-hoc work.

We deliver to patients within a 3-4 mile radius of our pharmacies in Hounslow, so it would be beneficial for the candidate to have knowledge of the local area. Start time is flexible, and there are usually 40-60 deliveries per day when our regular driver is off, which I would expect would take 4-6 hours. Payment will made to the successful candidate per drop on the run sheet. The candidate would use their own vehicle, with a mileage cost added onto the pay provided.

We pride ourselves on customer service, so as the face of our pharmacy to our delivery patients; the successful candidate will be friendly, a great communicator and good with people. An up to date DBS check is preferable, but not essential as this can be arranged by us.

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
