Role Overview & Responsibilities
Kitchen Porter / Washing up person – Term-time only
Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday 8.00 am – 3.30 pm (working approximately 20 Saturdays per year)
You will be working in our catering department as part of an energetic & diverse team washing up from breakfast & lunch service.
You will need to be at least 18 years of age to operate our large dishwasher.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, a quick worker and organised. No previous experience is required.
We are a great team to work with and enjoy a happy atmosphere, free meals on duty, free parking, uniform and training.
We are a busy school who like to hold lots of various hospitality events, so from time to time you may be asked to help work at these. Some examples are sports day BBQ, Bonfire night, House suppers, Summer concerts etc. The larger hospitality events aren't every week but when they do occur we get plenty of notice.
Your annual pay is divided between 12 months.
You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks paid holiday.
