General Maintenance Person

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Hillside Animal Sanctuary is looking for a General Maintenance Person to join our existing Maintenance Team - covering multiple sites across the organisation. The role will require the ability to work as part of a team but also on an individual basis in support of all other sanctuary teams. The job holder will also be required to conduct a number of varied maintenance tasks while ensuring that all tasks are carried out in the most cost effective manner.

Knowledge of safe working practices and the consideration of best practice and methods of work is essential.

Responsibilities will include

• Completing routine maintenance,
• Fencing/Plumbing/Painting
• Undertaking repairs and tackling a range of other practical tasks.·
• Carpentry
• Grounds keeping
• Waste removal

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Experience:

• Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
