We are looking for Care Professionals Who are kind, compassionate and want to make a difference in people's lives - with the availability to work one evening a week and alternative weekends. We have been providing services in the area since 2007 and are proud of making a difference to thousands of elderly people's lives, helping them remain independent at home. We have full-time and part-time roles available with immediate starts as well as salaried positions working a three on, three off rota.

Job Description

Homecare Assistant Benefits:

• Great rates of pay - from £11.00 per hour, plus £22.00 enhanced bank holiday rates
• Minimum 1 hour calls– giving you the time to care.
• Part time/Full-time/Guaranteed contract - from 10 hours part time to 35+ hours full-time.

Responsibilities:

Being a support worker is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.

Here’s what you could be doing:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
