Role Overview & Responsibilities

House of Isabella is a fast-growing international online retailer of interior furniture and homewares, with operations across the UK and Australia. We’re on the hunt for a highly motivated part-time Warehouse Operative to help with inventory and inbound/outbound goods.

The perfect candidate will be a team player who is committed to excellence in their specific tasks, but also willing to jump in and assist the customer service team where needed, with a positive, can-do attitude.

About the Job
- Permanent part-time
- Based in our Durham office/warehouse
- 8:30am-2.00pm, Monday to Friday (hours can be discussed)

Duties include:

• Processing all pallet deliveries, allocating orders and arranging efficient dispatch
• Booking all outlet stock orders for delivery from Durham
• Coordinating deliveries from external supplier warehouses direct to customers
• Liaising with our third-party warehouses over the phone and on-site and booking dispatch as required
• Checking and processing returns and ensuring ongoing accurate stock control and recording of outlet items
• Taking photographs/videos of damage/faults of goods to list online/provide to customers
• Courier insurance claims
• Assisting the customer service team, providing email and live chat support as required
• Other general warehouse duties

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Manual handling capabilities - please note this role does involve heavy lifting at times
• Strong computer skills
• UK manual driving licence
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Superior attention to detail
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Driven, organised and logical
• A team player attitude

Salary: £9.50-£11.50 per hour
