Role Overview & Responsibilities

*Humans Cornwall are supporting people to find personal assistants. The role may be a private arrangement or funded through a Direct payment*

Location: Nancledra (Nr. Penzance)

Former teacher who loves dogs, seeks a clear and strong-minded personal assistant with a good sense of humour to support her at home and in the community. She has a diagnosis of high blood pressure, hypertension and heart failure.

Support required:

· Personal care (i.e. support with dressing/ support with shower)

· Laundry

· General tidying

· Meal preparation

· Accessing community

· Administering medication

Hourly rate of pay: £14.00

Total hours: 21 hours per week in total (3 hours per day)

x2 positions available

Start times are negotiable:

2 hours in morning – (8am Preferred)

1 hour in evening – (5.30pm Preferred)

Essential:

- Full driving licence due to location

- Previous experience in a support role
