Kitchen Assistant for Ice Cream & Lollies

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a food production worker to join our team and help us produce Ice Lollies & Ice Creams. Specific training will be provided and prior experience working with food is required.

We are looking for someone that you enjoy a challenge and have a positive attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. You will be involved in the process of making organic Ice Lollies, this involves making mixes and freezing the mix in special lolly making equipment. Once produced, the lollies are packed in boxes and stored in our freezers ready for sale.

2. We run a very clean production kitchen and we expect cleaning of the equipment to be carried out to a high standard.

3. We take food safety very seriously, this involves completing paperwork for every batch that is produced, so attention to detail is important.

4. There will be other general production tasks, such as picking ingredients, weighing them prior to use, operating a lolly wrapping machine among other tasks.

5. We also produce ice creams and there will be opportunities to assist the ice cream making team so loads to learn!

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn and is a team player. As such we will be looking for the following traits in our successful candidate:

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: £12.00 per hour
