Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit Warehouse and Facilities Cleaning Operatives for our site in Birmingham

Working Saturday to Wednesday

Week 1

Saturday and Sunday 7am -11am

Monday to Wednesday 8:30am - 12:30pm

Week 2

Saturday to Wednesday 8:30am - 12:30pm

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out machine and manual cleaning of the warehouse. Recycling duties will also be included.

Key responsibilities

• Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
• Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces, manually and with machines
• Report anything in need of repair or replacement
• Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
• Empty bins
• Use of a variety of cleaning equipment and products
• Record all cleaning tasks as directed
• Use a ride on scrubber dryer machine and various small pedestrian machines
• You will report to the Site Supervisor

Salary: £10.42 per hour
