Assistant General Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We're looking for a Assistant General Manager for our busy tourist destination restaurant in Saffron Walden. We have 10 boutique hotel rooms and a very busy restaurant. The restaurant has a lot of History & dates back to the 1500's.

Our ideal candidate has a focus on fresh food & great wine, a passion for service & ability to work in a fast paced restaurant environment. We're also a very busy destination for coffee, barista experience is a bonus

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support and work with the management team in all aspects of running the restaurant
• Working with colleagues to share skills, knowledge, resources and networks. Highly focused, have excellent communication skills; be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
• To act as Duty Manager as and when required, ensuring a great guest experience
• To work with the General Manager to achieve financial targets

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
