Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking to partner with affiliate practitioners to help us provide the best care we can to our patients, ensuring they get the best treatment in the timeliest way possible. Please see below for our available roles, as well as the essential person specification criteria for each role.

To be considered for our affiliate roles, you must be able to commit to 10 hours minimum per week between 8 am - 8 pm (Monday to Friday) and 9 am – 5 pm (Saturday). To meet the demands of our Insight IAPT services, we require Affiliates to be able to work 2-hour blocks as a minimum. You will be asked your working hours expectations ahead of being offered an interview.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (£33 per hour, gross):

  • Fully qualified in a BPS accredited qualification in Low Intensity CBT Therapy. If you are unsure if your course is BPS accredited, please visit the BPS website here: https://portal.bps.org.uk/Accredited-Courses
  • Hold PWP Registration with BABCP or BPS (please confirm your registration number in your CV)
  • Have at least 6 months post grad experience in the role

High Intensity CBT Therapists (£52 per hour, gross):

  • Fully qualified in High Intensity Interventions
  • Hold full accreditation with BABCP (please confirm your accreditation number in your CV)
  • Have at least 6 months post-graduate experience in the role

Counsellors (£52 per hour, gross):

  • Fully qualified in Counselling for Depression (CfD)
  • Must be registered by at least one of the following bodies: BACP [must be accredited, membership is not sufficient], NCS [Accredited Professional Registrant status is required] or UKCP (please confirm your accreditation number in your CV for whichever body you are part of)
  • Have at least 6 months post-graduate experience in the role

  • Please note, this role is not available for staff currently employed by Insight IAPT, or those who have left within the last 12 months.
