Job Title: Commercial Insurance Broker
Salary: + Uncapped commission

Insured4Business is a young, innovative company serving all businesses and sectors across the UK, offering a range of insurances. We're looking for a Commercial Insurance Broker to play a key role in shaping the company from the beginning.

In this role, you will manage a pipeline of new business enquiries from our website and develop a growing book of business in relation to commercial insurance, whilst ensuring full FCA compliance. You will generate revenue for the business and ensure a quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect new leads and ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client, insurer and 3rd parties
• Initiate client contact to identify needs and negotiate with insurers to secure the most appropriate cover for the client
• Present recommendations and cover to the client, close the sale and ensure cover is on risk
• Secure cross-selling business and referrals
• Monitor own sales performance in line with targets and effectively manage the client portfolio
• Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care at all times
• Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and ensure expert advice in all areas of business
• Liaise with Account Handlers and the wider team whenever necessary
• Bring ideas and efficiencies to improve business processing

Key Performance Indicators:

• Ensure all Key Performance Indicators are achieved (new business, renewals, cross-selling, renewal/retention ratio and overall profitability) and are attained compliantly within FCA guidelines and regulation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Handler / Executive or similar sales role
• Experience selling and arranging Packaged and Commercial Combined policies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
• Comfortable speaking to business owners and asking for their business
• Ability to meet targets and the desire to exceed them
• Comprehensive FCA compliance knowledge
• A self-starter with a high level of motivation
• A team player who can collaborate with other departments and liaise with colleagues at all levels
• Fully/part Cert CII qualified

Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
