Health Care Assistant Needed in Gravesend

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our hospital is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to work closely with the senior nursing team and must have their own vehicle. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience working in a medical environment. The successful candidate will also possess basic medical knowledge, including knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as be able to prepare patients for surgery.

Responsibilities:

Record patient information.

Document patient's current and changing condition.

Communicate with the patient's family and other healthcare professionals.

Assist with basic activities of daily living; bathe, groom, dress patients.

Accompany patients to treatments and appointments.

Observe and report changes in patient's condition to healthcare team members.

Evaluate patient's mental and physical condition.

Prepare equipment for treatments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 60 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Gravesend: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

minimum 6 months of experience in health care is preferred

Salary: £10.00-£16.00 per hour
