Day Cleaner

Role Overview & Responsibilities

ISS is a leading provider of Total Facilities Management services to a wide range of clients worldwide. Services include; Engineering, Cleaning, Catering and Client services.

We require additional cleaners to join our existing cleaning team on a large corporate site on Brackmills Business Park, Northampton. We are looking for part time cleaners from 07:00 - 15:30

Key Responsibilities:

To carry out and complete tasks as allocated by Site Supervisor/ Site Cleaning Manager to the agreed standards.

• To carry out general cleaning tasks as detailed on the task allocation sheets, to agreed standards as directed by Site Manager/ Site Supervisor
• To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene
• To ensure correct material, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment kept clean and in good working order.
• To report faulty equipment/ machinery immediately
• To ensure effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the customer and ISS colleagues.
• To attend training as required by your Site Supervisor/ Site Manager
• To report any near misses, accidents and dangerous occurrences to your Site Supervisor/ Site Manager
• To carry out additional hours where requires to help cover business needs and holidays/ sickness

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

• Candidates should have a proven track record in a cleaning role

• Demonstrate Flexibility

• Be Trustworthy

• Have a good level of spoken English and be able to read English to assist with training

A basic DBS background check and Right to Work check will be required before appointment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £10.49 per hour
