Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to continued expansion and investment into our modern fleet, we are looking for Class 2 Tipper Drivers to be based out of our Preston depot.

Responsibilities of our HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers

• Drive and operate an 8-wheel tipper HGV to/from site
• Transport aggregate to our customers in a safe and professional manner
• To work in conjunction with your Transport Managers instructions
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in line with established company standards and statutory requirements
• Complete and submit the required daily paperwork
• To act in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Attend all Training & Development Courses as required

Requirements of the Job

• Preferably held Class 2 licence for at least 1 year
• Full driver CPC
• Any FORS Training would be advantageous
• MPQC and SUD completed courses would be advantageous, however courses can be provided
• Experience with Aggregate tipping/loading would be preferred but not essential as in-house training will be provided to the right candidates
