Role Overview & Responsibilities

Full-time Warehouse/ Packing Operative for Vitamin Manufacturing Company

We have exciting opportunity for a warehouse/ packing operative to join our growing company.

Previous experience in food/powder handling in clean room environments and warehouses is desirable but not essential.

The role will require the right individual to be able to but not limited to:

· Pack orders into boxes and label accordingly

. Receive deliveries of goods and supplies and check for damaged or missing items

. Store received goods in allocated location in warehouse

. Move and rearrange stock using lifting equipment where necessary

. Keep accurate stock records of goods in and goods out

. Keep warehouse clean and tidy and keep accurate cleaning records

. Label finished product using labelling machinery

. Operate tablet/ capsule bottling machinery in clean room environment

FULL TRAINING GIVEN FOR RIGHT CANDIDATE

Essential Skills:

· Organised and self-motivated,

· Excellent attention to detail

· Able to work on own and as part of a team

. Able to meet the physical demands of the job

· Excellent time keeping skills

· Able to work under pressure

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and procedures

· Basic computer skills as well as good communication skills

Desirable Skills:

. Forklift truck driving experience and/ or warehouse experience an advantage, but not necessary for the right candidate

. Previous experience of operating tablet/ capsule counting machinery

. Experience of working within a food production environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Liverpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
