Accounting Technician Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To maintain the profit and loss accounts, budgeting, preparing cash flow forecasts and relevant accounting records;

• To collaborate and produces reports on financial information for Sole practitioner;

• To keep liaises with business clients to ensure that revenues are received on time and terms limits are not outdid;

• To ensure all invoices and payments are accurate and provided on time;

• To monitor and update accounting classifications to determine accounts are being upheld effectively and provides reports on accounting practices to external auditors.

• To upload & update transactions into Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, QuickFile, ClearBooks, FreeAgent, Eci Horizon, Lloyds Finance Assistance & IRIS Accounting Software

• To produce accounting reports for preparing statutory accounts and HMRC submissions.

Desired Requirements

* 3 + years experience in Finance & accounting.

* Advanced in problem-solving skills

* Confident in communications skills

* Having a strong team collaborative ethos

* Proactive in Accounts Professionalism

* Advanced in MS Excel, Sage, Xero, Quickbook, Quickfile, Clearbooks, FreeAgent, Eci Horizon, Lloyds Finance Assistance & IRIS Accounting Software

* Qualifications in relevant field is desired
