Night Shift Worker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

JB Foods (Scotland) Ltd was Established in 1963 and has grown steadily to become Scotland’s leading independent foodservice operator, we have an extensive product portfolio covering frozen, grocery, non-food, chilled and fresh meat products. We operate from our head office in Loanhead near Edinburgh. We remain a family business and our traditional family values and culture sets us apart from the rest of the industry.

A huge part of our success is due to our team. We are looking for dynamic, friendly, conscientious and hard working night shift operatives to join our busy depot in Loanhead. As a night shift operator you shall be responsible for picking and palletising orders ready to be delivered to our customers.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: - Accurate picking, palletisation and loading of products ready for delivery to customers - Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), hygiene and other related legislation.

To be considered for the team you must have

· Attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards and specifications

· Reliable, honest and hardworking with a can-do attitude

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Strong customer excellence focus

· The ability to work well as a team and manage relationships

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Good understanding of the English language, both verbal and written

Previous experience of voice picking systems along with reach/fork lift license would be advantageous but not essential.
