About Us:
The Rye Bakery is an independent family-owned bakery established in 1989. We operate cafés in Bexhill-on-Sea, Hawkhurst and Ore as well as a bakery and wholesale bread business in Peasmarsh, Near Rye.
The Role:
We produce thousands of bread rolls and loaves a week for our busy stores as well as our renowned fresh doughnuts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible new member of our team to undertake various bakery duties. This will include packing stock, cleaning and assisting with production when required. This is a hands-on role and you will be on your feet all of the shift.
The role will be over a 45-hour 5 day week, including a Sunday, with an immediate start possible. Saturdays off plus one day during the week. The shifts are 5pm until 2am.
Additional hours will be required to cover holidays and sickness.
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given.
Own transport essential as no public transport available.
Salary: £10.75 per hour
