Role Overview & Responsibilities

This is to work with a 10 year old boy with complex needs, you must be willing to support him on his terms and be willing to adapt any approaches to suit his needs. This is not a traditional child care role we will be asking you to think outside the box. Eddie is autistic and ADHD and we see this as positives and we use neuro-affirming language.

You just be a car driver we do have a car that can be used as Eddie likes driving around. Eddie likes going to the park, playing in water and also attendees iceskateing which he does in his wheelchair.

You must be willing to do training and have a open mind to learning new things.

it is essiental you like animals as we have 2 dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and reptiles.

The hours are to work 8am-3pm (this can be flexible ) Monday-Friday and one weekend a month hours to be arranged. This role can be shared depending on jours wanted.
