• Job Title: Warehouse and Packing Room Operator

Salary: £11.55 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 1pm to 11pm, 30 minute break. Monday - Friday, 47.5 hours per week

Probation Period: 3 months

JFA Medical Ltd is a fast-growing medical and healthcare supply company committed to providing our clients with high-quality products and services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse and Packing Room Operator to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Warehouse and Packing Room Operator, you will be responsible for:
• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading containers
• Operating forklift trucks (training will be provided)
• Building and stacking pallets
• Operating shrink wrap machinery
• Working outdoors and at heights when necessary
• Booking shipments with couriers using online systems
• Updating inventory levels as needed
• Using Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain records
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Cross-covering customer service duties as needed

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Warehouse and Packing Room Operator role should:

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Be a team player with a willingness to cross-cover other areas of the business
• Have good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Be committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
• Option for promotion to team leader within 3 months depending on performance.
