XYZ / Manual Machinist

Due to growth and continued success our client is looking to recruit an experienced XYZ/ Manual Machinist with experience in CNC and manual machining. Ideally you will have experience with either Manual Machining OR programming setting and operating CNC Turning machines but some training can be given if you have a strong engineering background. The ideal candidate will be open to being trained on other machines to support continued growth and success in the business. This is a permanent role in a company with a strong reputation in Engineering. A friendly Engineering team that can offer some support and training to the right candidate. A great time to join a growing business who has recently invested in new machines to support their Blue chip customers.

XYZ / Manual Machinist

• Setting and operating CNC Lathes
• Setting and Operating XYZ Lathes
• Manual Milling
• Manual Turning
• Manual Grinding
• Programming / Programme Editing experience is a bonus
• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings
• Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work
• To work to your own initiative and understand manufacturing processes
• Experience working with a low to medium batch work
• Experience working with a variety of materials
• Open to being trained on other machines

XYZ / Manual Machinist

• £16.00-£16.50 per hour
• Days 07:30am-4pm Monday to Thursday/ Early finish Friday
• Consistent weekly overtime opportunities paid at x 1.5
• 28 days holiday
