Opening 7 years ago as a small family run business, Joanna's Boutique Tearoom has built a reputation for excellent customer service and our signature afternoon tea menu which we serve alongside a breakfast and lunch menu. The tearoom attracts customers from a far, becoming a popular location for special occasions. Our ever-growing business needs some new friendly faces to become a part of our busy front of house team.

As a small family run business we thrive on good customer service and aim to give our customers a personal and ensure they leave having a memorable experience with us.

You will be responsible for the daily tasks of running a restaurant floor, from serving customers, task-management, waiting on tables and preparing drinks for customers. Working in a friendly work environment, where no two days are the same.

Day To Day Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily restaurant operation, ensuring to always working as a team
• Delivering high quality food and maximising customer satisfaction
• Overseeing our teams performance
• Training, managing and motivation of staff
• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene & health and safety
• Checking stock levels & ordering managing

With plenty of opportunities for movement within our business. With the opening of our coffee shop in Parham House & Gardens, and the new tearoom site opening in Chichester June 2023, there is so many opportunities to be had. Joanna's offers a workplace with potential. Hourly pay grade discussed further upon interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 24 months
Part-time hours: 48 per week

Salary: £8.00-£14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pulborough, RH20 4DU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Catering: 1 year (required)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
• Hospitality: 1 year (required)
