Warehouse Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are an established business seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative.

You will work at our busy and successful Clothing and Homeware warehouse in the West Norwood area, within the wholesale, ecommerce and retail divisions.

Key duties:

-Breaking down shipments and placing them in correct areas
-Helping with order processing
-Picking
-Packing
-Labelling and scanning
-Keeping a tidy work area
-General Warehouse and ad hoc duties

Skills Required:

-Warehouse experience
-Computer literate (Excel)
-Attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills
-Customer focused

You will be working within a very busy warehouse environment so candidates need to be reliable, punctual, fit, able to adapt to new processes and procedures, and able to cope under pressure. Must have previous experience of working in warehousing, within a fast-paced environment.

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
