Car Parts Sales Advisor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communications skills to be a Car Parts Sales Advisor for a well-known company based in Swindon.

This role requires to assist in maximising the parts department sales by using your parts knowledge, experience, and skills in customer relations.

Schedule:

• Sales is every Saturday 8:30AM - 2PM
• Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM (with Wednesday's off)
• £10.45 P/H
• Also has a 2.5% commissions on all personal sales

Duties:

• To inform, promote and sell parts to external and workshop guests, making the most of opportunities via telephone and direct contact and ensuring guest demands are fulfilled
• Identifying parts from motor vehicles with special or additional features, assigning relevant information and pricing accordingly
• Accurately complete and store all paperwork, including picking slips, guest contact details, sales and lost sales information to ensure up-to-date guest information is available and accessible at all times
• Check all parts returned by guests for damage and condition, noting down returns details and logging the parts back into the department
• Maintain a tidy and organised stock warehouse, arranging stock as per guest and workshop requests

Job requirements:

• To provide polite and courteous service to all external and internal guests
• Interpreting guests requirements for various parts
• Developing business opportunities for the department
• Be well organised and have good communication skills
• Be focused on delivering a great customer experience

Experience:

• Previous experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
• Familiarity with distribution/trade counter sales businesses
