Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Albex Group - Kent Foods Ltd (www.kentfoods.co.uk) are seeking to recruit an experienced Food Manufacturing Operative for our manufacturing facility at our Hunslet Site

You will be responsible for a range of Manufacturing duties which will include but not be limited to the following: -

• Blending / Batching of powdered ingredients using pre-set recipe sheets
• Repetitive Lifting of materials up to 25kg in weight
• Accurate Record completion
• Packing Finished Goods into various Completed Pack sizes
• Loading and Unloading materials using FLT
• General Housekeeping duties

Experience within a Food Manufacturing Environment is essential, an FLT license would be an advantage but Full Training would be given to the right candidate, the role requires you to be physically fit as it will include manual lifting. Proficient in written and spoken English, you will be Hardworking and punctual whilst always adhering to Health and Safety Guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate would have: -

• Food Manufacturing Experience ideally with working knowledge of Allergens / GMP
• A flexible approach and the ability to work within a small team
• The ability to communicate confidently with colleagues within a small team
• The ability to work independently and without supervision when required

The role is based on a 48 Hours per week, but you will be expected to undertake working hours which are necessary to meet the needs of the business and therefore a flexible approach is required.

We operate a Rotating Shift Pattern of:

• Week 1 – 06:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday
• Week 2 – 12:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday
