Hygiene Operative - Nights

We are looking for people to join our Hygiene team in Kepak Kirkham, home of Rustlers!

Working as part of the Hygiene team on night shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the required standards of Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene are met within the factory. You will be required to ensure cleaning is carried out effectively to agreed standards, working shift patterns which include nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities:

• To clean and maintain Hygiene standards in all production areas
• Dismantle all machinery and equipment in order to enable effective cleaning
• Use industrial cleaning equipment, including chemicals & high power hoses
• Reassemble equipment in time for start up §Adhere to procedures and uphold health and safety standards
• To participate in regular deep cleaning activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Food Safety Level 2 and COSHH training advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and procedures
• Flexible approach to work
