Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to work in our busy Warehouse in Kepak in Merthyr Tydfil.

No experience necessary as full training will be given. Fork truck licence desirable but not essential.

This is a full time position working 6.00am to 6.00pm - 4 on / 4 off with an hourly rate of between £12.42 to £14.92 per hour depending on experience (annually = £24,219 to £29,094)

Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods. Our meat is sourced primarily from quality assured farms and our beef and lamb are pasture-grazed for most of the year.

Requirements

• Ensuring stock is picked in rotation within department
• Ensure stock is fed through to production
• Loading and unloading trailers accurately and safely
• Putting stock away into storage accurately and safely
• Picking orders from a picking document
• moving stock accurately and safely to other departments
• Communicating with team leaders and Supervisors in the department
• Ensuring stock accuracy
