Band 2 – Radiology Health Care Assistant – CT/MRI Department at KGH

An opportunity has arisen to join our hard working, friendly and progressive cross sectional imaging team at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, initiative-taking, well organised support worker to join our friendly, busy CT/MRI Team.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to support with daily patient flow through the CT Department, and to support the Radiographers with patient care and room preparation. You will be expected to work alongside our Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners to ensure the patients receive the best possible care during their visit to the CT/MRI department.

You must be eager to learn, competent in IT skills and keen to contribute towards efficient service delivery and excellent patient care.

Kettering General Hospital provides acute health care services to an ever-growing population of around 280,000 in North Northamptonshire, South Leicestershire, and Rutland. Our main services are delivered from our main site and satellite outpatient facilities at three neighbouring units.

There are no set entry requirements to become a healthcare support worker, but good literacy and numeracy skills are expected in English and maths together with NVQ Level 2. You will also need to be caring, kind and willing to really get stuck into the role – it is a hands-on environment where teamwork, communication and organisational skills are vital.
