Systems Support Specialist

Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust (NGH) and Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) formed a hospital Group; University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group on 1 July 2021. Working together as a hospital group provides us with exciting opportunities to deliver benefits over and above what we could achieve as individual, whilst each Trust retains its sovereignty. Our Group Digital Strategy sets out the ambition to be the Most Digital Hospital Group in England by July 2023. We are currently undergoing phased organisational change and the restructuring of our digital services.

The fixed term contract is until the end of March 2025.

Our vision is important for our patients as it delivers the infrastructure that enables seamless care across pathways, preventing delays and putting them at the centre of their care with access to, and control over, their own electronic health records.

A core part of our strategy for delivering our vision is the implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR). This comprises a series of modules, each of which forms a separate project within the overall programme. We are seeking an experienced Systems Support Specialist to provide end user support to existing patient and clinical systems and be involved in the configuration, testing and implementation of new EPR solutions.
