Role Overview & Responsibilities

Keystone Building & Renovation is a friendly local building company which has grown rapidly in the last 6 months and in particular in its provision of property maintenance services. We are looking for a self-employed Multi-Trade Person to join our expanding team with an immediate start. In particular, we work with agents and portfolio landlords attending to a multitude of maintenance issues across various sites in and around Bedford from plumbing failures to redecoration and refurbishment. As well as serving our property partners, we also undertake domestic jobs including bathroom and kitchen fitting.

The successful candidate will be able to provide a range of domestic repairs and improvements including:

• Kitchen fitting
• Floor and wall tiling
• Minor plumbing repair e.g. replacing taps, wastes and shower valves etc.
• Minor heating repair e.g. replacing radiator valves, replacing radiators, and repairing pipes etc.
• Bathroom fitting
• Repairing and replacing shower cubicles
• Painting & decorating
• Studwork and boarding
• Minor plastering works/hole repair
• Repair and/or lay vinyl flooring
• Minor electrical works incl. replacing sockets and switches, installing light fittings/LED bulkheads, extending sockets etc.
• Basic carpentry incl. hanging doors, fitting door locks and latches, fitting skirting, architrave, laminate flooring etc.
• Any other reasonable activity commensurate with the role

The successful candidate must have the following:

• Own transport and willingness to travel (locally)
• Own tools and PPE
• Able to provide UTR and CIS Registered (CIS only deducted for works 'in-scope')

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £150.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
