Our Kids Planet Crosby Nursery are currently looking to add a Sports Coach to their team. This role has been created with the aim to encourage physical education within our nurseries.

We are looking for sports professionals who are committed to providing a high standard of physical activity sessions for all our children. Individuals who can teach and give support to personnel within the nursery while working to implement sport and tie it into the nursery framework.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Teach physical development and activity whilst working alongside other members of staff.
• Begin to plan, prepare, and lead outstanding activities in line with approved schemes of work and extra-curricular activities.
• Keep up to date with government initiatives relating to the teaching of physical development and outdoor education, ensuring all projects are delivered in line with national priorities.
• Build relationships and work with local partnerships and agencies to create and execute outstanding physical development curriculum.

The ideal applicant:

• Hold a sports-based qualification.
• Must be Level 3 Early Years qualified or willing to complete through the Kids Planet Academy.
• Have a detailed understanding of the physical education requirements set by Ofsted, with knowledge of the EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding.
