Kitchen Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a kitchen assistant who with the correct training can take on extra cooking duties as and when required. Duties include preparation of food, cleaning duties, meeting with residents and ensuring they receive their dietary and fluid intake. Supporting the Cooks to run the kitchen to a high standard ensuring all standards are met. You will receive full training and induction. You will be working in a small team of Kitchen staff within a large care home for older people. You will gain knowledge of different dietary requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £9.50-£11.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Full PPE to be worn including gloves, aprons and masks which are all provided. Regular covid testing will be required
