Florist Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to help design and maintain our expansive collection of flowers. The ideal candidate will have a background in event floristry and experience with large projects. He or she should have a passion for gardening and understand the importance of seasonal sourcing. We are looking for someone who can take direction well and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire flowers from farmers and other suppliers.
• Transport flowers to shops and supermarkets;.
• Create floral arrangements according to customers' needs and preferences;.
• Read and interpret market trends;.
• Manage a team of employees and delegate tasks;.
• Be knowledgeable about the floral industry.
• Keep records of business transactions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
