We are looking for a new team member to join our expanding team. We have 3 GP Partners, 3 salaried GP, a practice pharmacist and 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners. Our clinical system is SystmOne.

The Practice provides services to a patient population of 10,500. We have an excellent complement of administrative and nursing staff including 2 Nurses, 2 HCA’s, 2 x Physiotherapist and a practice pharmacist, and are high achieving in all clinical and quality areas. We have a CQC rating as Good. We also have a branch site in Thorpe Astley that houses 3 clinical rooms.

We are looking for a likeminded person to share in our Practice vision of providing the highest standard of care to our patients.

The role will be based around providing care for patients through taking and clinical assessment. You will possess excellent clinical and communication skills, work well independently and within a multidisciplinary team, work well under pressure and be able to cope with challenging situations.

The focus of the role would be in helping to manage acute ‘on-the-day’ problems. As confidence grows in this area, there would be opportunities for involvement in more routine work if desired.

As a practice we are a part of the North Blaby Primary Care Network which allows us wider opportunities to support our patient group via mental health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy practitioners and social prescribers

We are affiliated with the University of Leicester and Jubilee training Academy for the teaching of medical students and registrars.

The post holder may be required to travel between surgery sites and undertake patient home visits during their working day.
