Warehouse Operative / Order Picker

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking to recruit experienced order pickers and packers to start immediately on a temp to perm basis.

Our Client is a leading logistics supplier and operates in the clothing sector. The modern warehouse is located in the LS12 Wortley area of Leeds with easy access for public transport or car.

Current available shifts-

Monday to Friday

8 am - 16:30 pm

7 am-15:30 pm / 13:15 pm -21:45 pm (flexibility to work both shifts is desirable)

6 am-14:30 pm / 13:15 pm -21:45 pm (flexibility to work both shifts is desirable)

Occasional Sundays 7am-3.30pm

Degree of flexibility will be required in busy sale periods.

The position involves:

• Picking single or multiple orders.
• Using pick sheets to pick orders.
• Order picking using RDT guns / Scanners.
• Packing and labelling orders.
• Processing garments.
• Processing returns.
• Working to Picking and Packing targets.

Pay Rates

Basic pay - £10.42/ hr

Saturday and Sunday pay rate - £12.42 / hr

Overtime after 40 hours through the week - £10.92/ hr (if work Monday to Friday)

If you work Sunday to Thursday & then Friday - overtime rate after 40 hours is £15.63/ hr
