Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are an independent micro-bakery located in East London, making and serving a large selection of bread, viennoiseries and cakes. We are searching for a skilled baker who loves their job to join our great team to deliver fantastic baked products and provide excellent customer service.

Baker responsibilities:

• You will prepare and bake our unique offering of distinctive bread and viennoiserie items using our specially-developed recipes.
• Finish off products ready for presentation in the bakery.
• Plan and organise production of goods based on agreed baking schedule.
• Ensure food hygiene processes are in place and adhered to.
• Work with the rest of the team to ensure customer experience attains highest levels.

Job requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years current experience as a baker in the catering industry
• Early morning shifts
• Work weekends and week days full time on a rotating basis, 5 days a week based on 45 hour week.
• Legally be able to work in the UK
• 3 months probation
• References will be required

Baker Skills

• Passionate about baking and working in an independent business.
• Efficient, organised, friendly and work well with others.
• Excellent communication.
