Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Laird's Table, on the Craufurdland Estate in Fenwick, is currently seeking a Kitchen Porter for our busy restaurant.

Duties will include:

• Keeping the kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness, washing of dishes, pots and pans via dishwasher and by hand, and overall maintaining this busy kitchen environment.
• Clean food prep areas and equipment, in addition to crockery & cutlery.
• The ability to work as part of a busy, fast paced team.
• Ensure all kitchen cleaning and prep work is done in a timely manner.
• Ensuring stock deliveries are stored correctly and rotated.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Due to the location of The Laird's Table, public transport isn't always easily accessible.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability
