Description

Unmind are looking for someone to join their IT team to assist with providing first-class IT service support to all Unminders. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to take their first steps into the world of IT as a career with an initial focus on 1st line IT support.
  • Responding to and managing 1st line support tickets and queries via our IT service desk logging system, remotely and in person, and keeping users consistently updated.
  • Setting up new users with all necessary accounts and closing down leavers.
  • Provide speedy and reliable support and troubleshooting for software applications.
  • Allocate, configure, and manage new starter and leavers equipment and maintain asset registers.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve endpoint device issues for Mac OS and Windows-based machines.
  • Support printing and audio/visual office facilities.
  • Work closely with the Information Security team to deliver a first-class and secure service for end users.
Entry requirements
  • You’ll need to attend an online Zoom screening interview with our Talent Team (don’t worry, we’re a friendly bunch!) and pass initial assessments in Maths and English.
  • You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
Training to be provided

To meet the requirements of the Level 3 ICT apprenticeship programme you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:
  • Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events
  • 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager
  • Observing and shadowing colleagues
  • Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
