Full-time Assistant Gardener

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Assistant Gardener required for large Private Estate to work as part of a team under the Head Gardener. This role would suit a hands-on gardener with a well rounded skillset. Responsible for maintaining the gardens and grounds to a high standard. Maintaining borders, planters, hedges, lawns. Be knowledgeable and able to prune trees, fruit trees, shrubs and roses.

You must have the relevant horticultural qualifications as well as Pesticide Certifications. A chainsaw licence would be an asset, as well as an ATV certification, but not essential.

The candidate must have a professional manner, a good work ethic and the ability to fit in within a team, as well as being able to work independently.

Experience is essential, as well as a passion for gardening. This would be a great opportunity for someone to learn in a superb and renowned garden.

Salary Dependent on Experience.
