Role Overview & Responsibilities
The role of Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA's) at Red Kite View: To assist and support the Occupational Therapy treatment program for young people under the supervision of our registered Occupational Therapists. The Occupational Therapy Assistants could work across the General Adolescent Unit (GAU) and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The focus of the support to Occupational Therapy treatment programs is to facilitate group activities, managing resources for activities and supporting the OT team with 1:1 treatment plans. The role requires Multi Disciplinary Team working, to work collaboratively regarding treatment plans and formulation and to communicate clinical rationale. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to overall provision of a high quality service.
